To join the Research Biobank of the Padua University Hospital, the interested Operating Units/Organizations must contact the Biobank by writing to biobanca.ricerca@aopd.veneto.it. The Biobank will then organize an informational meeting to explain the objectives of participation.
The Working Group thus formed will outline the procedures that participants must follow, particularly regarding the handling of biological samples, informed consent, and associated sensitive data. Subsequently, the head of the Operating Unit/Organization must complete the "Biobank Membership Form" (document download) on official letterhead and sign it. The Research Biobank coordinators will formalize the participation by returning the signed form.
